This kit contains one DVD, one Participant Book, and one Leader Guide. They are designed for a 60-90 minute weekly meeting. The DVD contains two video presentationsfor each session. Part One presents a particular pslam text (or texts)through a combination of spoken work, music, and visual imagery, aimed at giving participants a rich multimedia experience of Scripture. Part Two features the insights of two biblical scholars in an informatl interview format. Their conversations focus on providing context for understanding the particular psalm text(s) viewed in the Part 1 segments. The Participant Book outlines daily reading assignments for group preparations and contains commentary on the session theme. The Leader Guide suggests discussion activities for use in the weekly meetings. This study invites us to engage the Psalms at the deepest levels of our hearts, where God's faithfulness confronts themost challenging aspects of our lives. |
