Description: Bishop Scott J. Jones introduces us to seven United Methodist Christian leaders who through the telling of their life's stories and the acceptance of Christ in their lives have discovered the fullness of God grace in their life's journey and are living daily as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. 1) Following Christ Is a Way of Life - Andy Nixon, pastor of The Loft believes that following Christ is the best route to a life well lived. The Christian life can be bumpy and turbulent along the way, but it is worth it. 2) Love Ultimately Wins - Adam Hamilton, pastor of the Church of the Resurrection shares his story of coming into the church and a life of faith. People want to know that someone cares about them. We are Jesus in this world; love is an action not just a belief. The main purpose of being Christians in this world is to show God's love to others. 3) It's a Good World with Issues - Olu Brown, a United Methodist pastor in Atlanta, Georgia tells how his experience growing up among close family and friends who loved and supported him, fostered in him, not only a desire to help others but to speak truth to power and be a prophetic witness to community. 4) Turn Your Life Around With Grace - Jorge Acevedo leads a church called Grace. He offers to all a radical hospitality. He sees in every human that which is beautiful, sacred and holy and that which is sinful, selfish and ugly. God's grace will heal our brokenness. 5) You Are Not Aone - Rev. Jessica Moffatt Seay, a United Methodist pastor in Oklahoma sees prevenient grace as the time when God is "courting" us hoping to catch our hearts. When invited, God will come. 6)Transform Yourself and the World - Felicia Hopkins, an associate pastor in Texas, sees the Wesleyan way, as being in partnership with God to fix a broken world. We are called to bring the truth of Jesus Christ to those outside the walls of the church and make disciples and transform the world. 7) Invite Others on the Journey - Rob Fuquay came to know his purpose in life when he joined the church. Inviting others to come to church can be scary, but we are offering them an anchor for the soul. 8) Christ No Matter What - Bishop Scott Jones speaks about his faith journey and invites people to give their best to God. We also need to recognize other religions with respect knowing that God is also working a purpose out in their lives. BONUS CLIPS, LEADER GUIDE, PARTICIPANT GUIDE
